GLOBUS is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information on our web sites and developing technology that gives you the most powerful, safe, online visiting and purchasing experience. Our hosting company is a participant in the Safe Harbor Agreement between the United States and the European Union, and meets the Safe Harbor privacy principles published by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Collection of your Personal Information

GLOBUS explicitly asks when it needs information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information") pertinent to the specific product or service you are choosing to use or subscribe to on the GLOBUS web sites. This information can include your e-mail address, name, shipping/billing address, telephone number, and credit/debit card number, as applicable. GLOBUS also may ask for non-personal information or demographic information.

Use of your Personal Information

GLOBUS and our service partners use your personal information to operate the GLOBUS sites and to provide the GLOBUS services you have requested. The information is also used to communicate with you regarding your GLOBUS accounts.

We ask for your postal address because some of our services require a mailing address so that we can completely perform the service.

GLOBUS will not share your personal information with other companies. We do not sell or rent customer information to anyone.

You may update, edit or delete the personal information you have shared with GLOBUS, at any time when you are on the GLOBUS Web site.

GLOBUS secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When sensitive personal information (such as a credit card number and other financial information) is transmitted over the Internet, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

Use of Privacy Statements by GLOBUS Partners and Affiliates

While GLOBUS supports other web site operators using GLOBUS services complying with these principles, you should carefully examine the privacy statements of sites linking to or from GLOBUS. Personal information that you choose to provide to other web sites will be subject to the privacy policies of that specific web site.

Use of Web Beacons

GLOBUS web pages may contain electronic images known as Web beacons, sometimes called single-pixel gifs that allow GLOBUS to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services. Web beacons are not used to access your personally identifiable information on the GLOBUS network of sites and services; they are a technique we use to compile aggregated statistics about GLOBUS Web site usage.

Web beacons collect only a limited set of information including a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the Web beacon resides.
